What You Will Be Doing

  • Identify and remove inappropriate, harmful, or policy-violating content promptly
  • Escalate complex cases to senior moderators or legal teams when necessary
  • Maintain detailed records of moderation actions and policy violations
  • Stay updated with platform policies, content guidelines, and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with AI tools and automated systems to enhance content detection accuracy
  • Provide feedback on content policies and suggest improvements to moderation processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1+ years of content moderation or similar experience
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and online communities
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to make quick, accurate decisions
  • Cultural sensitivity and understanding of diverse communities and perspectives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive content
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with content management systems

Nice to Have

  • Content moderation certifications or training in digital safety
  • Multilingual skills (Spanish, French, German, or other languages)
